The name FredDog came from hot dog and has stuck for the past 30 years. FredDog was involved in the Skate World since the Early 70's. Designing one of the first full pipes at a skate park called Rim Rider in Burlingame California. For the past 8 years Freddog and Karen Mertl Has been involved as Series Director for the USASA (United States of America Snowboard Association) North Tahoe Series. With all of the great staff working so hard to put on these events it became Team Freddog without the team, events don't happen! This series was handed Down From Don Bostick Now with the X-Games and World Cup Skateboarding And Tom Collins USASA Executive Director. The North Tahoe Series is one of the largest and oldest running series in the U.S.A. And is a leader for several other series to exsist.
